Made In Alameda.com is a community development platform centered around building a healthy, sustainable Alameda from the people up!
“The people” meaning all the generations have a role and share a common community focus of promoting youth leadership from k-12 that leads to the production of Alumni, who mentor Student Government Associations, they once attended as students.
The more Alumni a community produces, the more developed the community will become!
This vision is called Familyhood.
Familyhood is an systemic approach of building healthy, sustainable communities utilizing schools, (their location, their inter-generational population, their legacy and leadership of their youth) to be center of the communities development.
Familyhood is a 20 year vision.
Made In Alameda.com is a partner site to assist in growing towards Familyhood’s 20-year vision.
Familyhood is driven by two mottoes’:
1) Every school shall have a functioning Student Government Association, Parent Teacher Association and Alumni Association’s.
2) Every school shall have a garden, a farmers’ market and a grocery store.
In short, a school’s Familyhood is motto #1 organizations (Student Government Association’s, Parent Teacher Associations, and Alumni & Community partners ( Familyhood calls “Friends of The School).

In our attempt to promote films “Made in Alameda” and the film community inside of Alameda, we are offering filmmakers, i.e., writers, directors, producers, editors, photographers, etc., space to promote your company within our site.

Like film, Music has many different categories. For example, some people play live instruments. Some people use computers to make their music or beats, etc. Some musicians are searching for film soundtracks to show off their craft. Some are in search of a sound studio to cut their first demo. To promote these musical scenarios and others, we have created space dedicated to promoting musicians.
